LUCTONIANS were pipped to the finish line by a well-organised Hinckley side in an entertaining spectacle at Mortimer Park.
David Peck opened the scoring for Hinckley with a well-worked try following a scrum five metres out, before Joe Wilson – who was swift around the park all afternoon – ran in a second on the 20 minute mark.
Rob Lewis then skipped through for the hosts to reduce the deficit on the half-hour mark after a great feed pass from Aiden Cheshire.
