Late Kerr try secures Colchester first home win

A TRY from the final play of a thriller of a match earned Colchester their first home win of the season to keep alive their slim hopes of National Two East survival.
In a match of 13 tries, the score changed hands no fewer than seven times as both sides attacked at will.
An early try by Combe’s Mikel Davies was cancelled out as Colchester ran in three quick-fire tries through Louis Martin, Jacob Bodkin and
Gabe Jones. Kyan Braithwaite’s try for Combe then made it 19-10 at the break.
