ANOTHER bumper crowd at the Lane witnessed a stirring comeback from Havant, only to fall short as Barnes showed why they are second in the league.
Barnes took the lead with a try from Mathew Humphries, converted by Elliott Haydon, and added a second through Jack Hill.
