Barnes are targeting the top three in National 2 East but aren’t thinking about promotion yet, says head coach Jack Heald.
The London-based side recently edged out title-challengers Dorking in a thrilling 38-33 away win with a last-minute winner from Ben Christie.
That result demonstrated Barnes’ quality and put them back on track after a slightly shaky period, which saw them scrape past Wimbledon and lose to Sevenoaks, before beating second-bottom Worthing.
