A strong Barnes side proved too much for North Walsham Vikings.
The home side had won a penalty, kicked by Matthew Hodgson, from the first play of the game, but Barnes soon drove up to the Vikings 22 and William Lewin scored an unconverted try wide out, quickly followed by a Patrick Mc-Duell try converted by George Makepiece-Cubitt.
A try by flanker Ethan Harbinson, again converted by Makepiece-Cubitt, took the visitors’ lead to 19-3 at the break.
