Eddie Hearn says Henry Pollock turned down down huge rival offers to extend his stay at Northampton Saints.
Back rower Pollock, 21, agreed a new deal with Saints to the summer 2028.
His contract is ahead of the average annual salary in the league (£191,000), as revealed by the payroll data for 2024-25.
Only 4 per cent of Prem players that season were paid more than £400,000. Pollock’s previous deal was worth about £150,000.
