Tom Hooper happy to stay at Exeter Chiefs

Wallaby flanker Tom Hooper has extended his stay with Exeter Chiefs until the summer of 2028 when he will return to Australia to join Queensland Reds.

Wallaby flanker Tom Hooper has extended his stay with Exeter Chiefs until the summer of 2028 when he will return to Australia to join Queensland Reds.
Hooper, 25, arrived at Sandy Park last summer and helped Chiefs climb from second-bottom to reach last month’s Prem final, which they lost to Northampton Saints.
“I think a three-year stint is a perfect amount of time to achieve some success,” said Hooper. “I feel like two years probably would have only just been getting started.
“Whilst we made the grand final this year, we haven’t even dipped the toe in in terms of the top European league....
