Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter expects it will take Red Bull three years to turn Newcastle into a Premiership force.

Baxter has lost two players to the Red Bulls in recent weeks, with Rusi Tuima following fellow England A international Josh Hodge to Kingston Park, and centre Will Rigg reported to be a target.
“We wanted Rusi to stay and offered him a contract,” said Baxter, the Chiefs’ director of rugby.
“Our front line locks are Dafydd Jenkins and Andrea Zambonin and we structure our pay on where players stand in the squad.
