I’m proud of the way our players fought, says coach Lam

Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam was far from dejected after seeing commitment and valour in his team’s performance in their narrow defeat to Bath.
“It could have gone either way at the end, and I’m proud of how the players fought and hung in there.
“The doom and gloom comes from outside – the supporters want the wins and that’s not always easy, but what I see is that the process of how we get there is getting better and better. Each game the guys are fighting and showing lots of effort.”
