STORMERS lock JD Schickerling, who was advised to quit the game with a serious neck injury six years ago, could be heading to the Premiership next season.
Schickerling, 25, who was only 2mm from paralysis, needed to have a plate inserted into his neck to save his career.
The former South Africa A international is one of several Western Province players who have held off agreeing to new deals over fears about the franchise’s future.
