Sheffield sitting in pole position

SHEFFIELD sit in pole position in the Midlands Premier after recording their ninth win from 10 games, seeing off Sandbach 35-14.
Sandbach were looking to regain ground in the title race and took an early lead through two William Cargill penalties.
However, Sheffield have been in fine form this season and responded with tries from Elliot Fisher and Matthew Adcock before the break.
Adcock then clinched a third try to put the win beyond Sandbach before Dominic Parsons and Ieuan Cooke increased their advantage, despite Joel Grout pulling a late try back.
