Peter Jackson questions the USA’s readiness to host the 2031 Rugby World Cup as another Major League Rugby club disappears, with Anthem RC the latest casualty of a professional game struggling to establish itself.

Yet another club has vanished from the Here-Today-Gone-Tomorrow League of US rugby, its disappearance widely ignored by Americans rather more concerned about the fallout from Donald Trump’s volcanic regime.
In the grand scheme of all things MAGA, the collapse of Anthem RC, as in Rugby Carolina, is too insignificant for anyone across the pond to pay the blind bit of notice.
