Castres leave it late to beat Glasgow

Castres had to wait until the late stages of the game to secure a 10-8 win over Glasgow in the fourth round of the Heineken Cup today.
Despite Glasgow leading 8-3 with less than ten minutes to go, the outcome of the game seemed obvious as Castres had all the possession and territory but they had to wait the 73^rd minute and a try from openside Yannick Caballero to seal the win.
Glasgow were heroic in defence to hold the French side out for most of the game and even had an opportunity to snatch it in the dying stages of the game but Ruaridh Jackson’s penalty hit the post.
This result means Castres are very much in the race for a quarter-final qualification as they climb to second in Pool 4, three points adrift of Ulster who they’re facing in the last round.
The score looked to be stuck at 3-3 at the break after a penalty each from Peter Horne and Romain Teulet in the first five minutes but, on the last play of the half, Glasgow struck.
On the back of a well-worked lineout, No.8 Ryan Wilson burst through the middle of the Castres defence to find John Barclay on his shoulder.
Despite suffering a suspected hamstring tear in the process, the Scotland international touched down and the Scots were leading 8-3 ah half-time.
It was all about Castres trying to outpower Glasgow in the second half with the French opting many times to either go to touch or take a scrum rather than kick penalties.
Bu the final touch wasn’t there until Caballero’s try from a catch and drive.
