Burns to call time

FREDDIE Burns is to retire from rugby later this year. The 36-year-old fly-half, who is playing for Dinamo Bucuresti, represented Gloucester, Bath and Leicester – for whom he kicked the last-minute drop-goal to win the Premiership in 2022 – before stints at Highlanders in New Zealand, and Shoki Shuttles in Japan.
