NBS eclipse Epsom to claim place in history

NORTHAMPTON School for Boys completed a historic Schools Cup and Trophy double after defeating Epsom College 36-20, becoming the first state school winners in two decades.
Not since St Peter’s High School’s win in 2006 had a state school claimed the crown and it was richly deserved after scoring three tries in the second half.
Epsom took the upper hand early and nearly opened the scoring, but Freddie Carty knocked on only metres away.
