CRUSADERS missed out on the final for just the second time in nine years after falling victims to a clinical first half Chiefs onslaught.
Last year’s runners-up blew the defending champions away with six first-half tries to lead 42-5at the break – the most points they have ever scored against their rivals in a first period – and Xavier Roe’s try in the 79th minute ensured their biggest-ever victory over Crusaders.
