Stick with talking one language

IN a recent article Paul Rees advocated that full time officials should learn to speak French and Italian so that they could communicate better with teams from those countries.
But what about Argentina, a leading country whose dominant language is Spanish? Do we ignore the languages of Georgia, Portugal, Romania, Uruguay? How about a spattering of Afrikaans or even Welsh?
The dominant language in rugby is English and full time professional players could learn the basic calls in English such as knock on, offside, crossing, which, coupled with the universally used hand signals...
