Following a dramatic opening weekend of the 2026 Six Nations, data analysts at betting comparison site FindSisterSites have updated their original Supercomputer and the forecast looks increasingly positive for Steve Borthwick‘s England.
After a crushing 48-7 victory over Wales at the Allianz Stadium, the model now sees England’s path to a first Grand Slam since 2016 as clearer than ever.
While pre-tournament predictions expected a comfortable English win, the scale of the victory, driven by a Henry Arundell hat-trick, has boosted their probability of a clean sweep.
England face a favourable run ahead, with home fixtures against Ireland and Italy still to come.
While the Supercomputer warns that the Championship could go down to the wire in Paris on the final weekend, it still predicts England will have enough in the tank to edge France in a Stade de France thriller.

Italy’s rise and Scotland‘s stumble
The biggest shift in the model comes from Rome, where Italy’s gritty 18-15 victory over Scotland has completely reshuffled the middle of the table.
The Supercomputer now predicts a historic campaign for the Azzurri, forecasting a fourth-placed finish or better, potentially equalling their best performance in the Six Nations era.
Conversely, Scotland’s title hopes appear to be in tatters after just one round. The model predicts further struggles for the Scots, including a heavy defeat to France in Round 4.
Wales in crisis
For Wales, the outlook is bleak. After suffering the heaviest defeat of the round, the Supercomputer is now near-certain that they will collect a third successive Wooden Spoon.
The model predicts they will remain winless throughout the campaign, finishing with a significant points deficit.
