Special $2 coins in circulation to celebrate Wallabies and Lions

Rugby Australia and the Royal Australian Mint brought out special $2 coins in the week to celebrate the Wallabies and Wallaroos.
The coins were launched in a rebel sport shop in Queen Street Mall and customers will get the coins in their change when they buy goods for cash at the retailer’s outlets.
The release marks this, the 10th tour of the British and Irish Lions to Australia, continuing a rivalry that began with the Wallabies’ first international match in 1899 in Australia.
