SO far we’ve seen some good signs from Steve Borthwick, a little more structure and a stable pack. He’s picking in form players in their natural positions. He has got rid of the ridiculous Marcus Smith/Owen Farrell scenario and has given Farrell the chance to prove he’s our number 10.
So here’s the rub – Farrell is not on form. Last Saturday he was England’s worst player, and you just cannot have that in the key position of 10.
