Premiership clubs are still anxiously waiting to find out from European Professional Club Rugby how much of the estimated £35,000 it will cost to play European clashes in South Africa they will pay.
Harlequins will travel to Durban to play The Sharks in the European Champions Cup, while London Irish play the Stormers in Cape Town and the Exeter Chiefs face The Bulls in Pretoria.
While Steve Diamond’s Worcester Warriors travel to Johannesburg to play The Lions in the Challenge Cup, EPCR hasn’t told clubs how much hard cash they will contribute towards the final bill.
