Scott Robertson has issued a come-and-get-me plea to the RFU, closing the door on a return to club rugby after it was revealed that he has had a get-out clause written into his New Zealand Rugby Union contract.

Robertson, who has been linked with Ian Foster’s job as All Blacks coach, is due to be under contract to The Crusaders until 2024 but could leave at the of next year.

He has been mentioned as a replacement for Eddie Jones and says he would like to coach at the World Cup and could look at leaving New Zealand for a job if the right one came along.
