Ditch World Rugby, put northern pros in charge

It’s not unknown for me to be critical of World Rugby, but last week a much more significant voice took issue with them, and one that has been close to what has been happening in the game. Simon Halliday, the departing head of EPCR, which organises the Champions Cup, launched a coruscating attack on World Rugby, accusing them of dither and delay, and he was on the money.
