Trinder: Ex-Gloucester stalwart set for Pro D2 semi-final with Vannes

HENRY Trinder could have been forgiven for getting the first flight home after starting his French adventure with ProD2 promotion hopefuls RC Vannes.
Trinder, 31, last month left Gloucester, his home for the past 13 years and where he made 172 appearances and scored 46 tries, to move to Brittany in north-western France.
He suddenly found himself in a budget hotel with former Newcastle Falcons lock Darren Barry doing two weeks of isolation after the French government announced a month lockdown.
