JONA Nareki scored a sensational hat-trick to secure Tony Brown’s first win in charge since returning to the Highlanders.
The Fijian-born winger produced outstanding numbers – 195 metres from just nine carries, with nine defenders beaten and four line breaks – to bamboozle the Chiefs as Highlanders stormed to a brilliant 39-23 comeback win in Hamilton on Friday night.
Nareki’s three and Folau Fakatava’s try led Brown’s men to an away bonus point victory in response to last week’s home defeat to the Crusaders.
