Australia claim the first Olympic Sevens gold as reward for years of excellence

AUSTRALIA might have struggled to make an impact at the Women’s World Cup over the years but – raiding other sports like netball, hockey and basketball for talent – they always demonstrated much more liking for Sevens and in 2016 became the first Olympic champions in Women’s Sevens.
