Dance of death starts for RWC rankings

WORLD Rugby’s plans for a World League, designed mainly to add spice to the groundhog day summer Tests and the increasingly routine November internationals, may have been shelved for a while but this calendar year might offer a little taste of what might be.
The world governing body have confirmed that they intend to make the RWC2023 draw based on world rankings at the end of this year, so the complicated dance to avoid the infamous pool of death is about to start.
