PAOLO Garbisi kicked 12 points to help Italy to a stuinning opening round victory over Wales in Colwyn Bay.
Sam Costelow’s early score had given Wales the ideal start, but thereafter Italy seized control and dominated both possession and territory.
A close-range effort from Matteo Drudi got Italy on the board and Garbisi’s boot did the rest to clinch the victory.
