Sharks fightback falls short despite boost from bench

GLASGOW Warriors survived a second half fightback from Sale Sharks to record a victory in their opening Champions Cup Pool 2 clash at Scotstoun.
The Scots triumph was not a thing of beauty and the game will not live too long in the memory, but home wins will be crucially important if the Warriors want to emulate last season and make it to the knockout stages.
