Haywood: Time for the Saints kids to step up

BACK from long-term injury with points to prove, Northampton hooker Mikey Haywood wants the young Saints to rise to the challenge of Champions Cup rugby.
Saints are back in the big boys’ tournament after last year’s absence and Haywood, recently returned from nearly 12 months out after ‘mincing’ a knee on his 200th club appearance against Gloucester last November, believes their raft of gifted academy products face an acid test.
