OSPREYS new boy Shaun Venter has vowed to brush off criticism of his arrival in Welsh rugby and star at the Liberty Stadium.
The deal for the Cheetahs scrum-half has gone down like a lead balloon with sections of the Welsh rugby public due to the Ospreys releasing the home grown Tom Habberfield to facilitate his signing.
Venter, 32, can play in a number of back line positions and insists he will be a big asset to Allen Clarke’s side and also assist in the development of the likes of Harri Morgan and Matthew Aubrey.
