I COULD not be happier to see Shaun Edwards where he should have been many years ago – helping coach an England rugby team. His move into the women’s setup for the remainder of their autumn campaign to help out on defence is excellent news.
The man has won seven Six Nations crowns across stints with Wales and France so I suspect he knows his onions. I just hope it is the start of a longer relationship with English rugby and he moves on to be part of the men’s coaching set-up.
In my view, that can’t happen too soon.
