Read signs off after 12 years

KIERAN Read thanked the Crusaders as his 12- year stint came to and end as he prepares to leave New Zealand for a Japanese club at the end of the 2019 season.
Having helped his side to their tenth Super Rugby title, No.8 Read said. “It’s given me everything. I love this place, the fans that turn up, the people of Christchurch.
“It’s so special. I’m just really thankful and grateful to be able to put on the jersey so many times.
“It’ll be a bit sad reflecting over the last couple of days, but I’ve absolutely loved my time here.”
