EALING Trailfinders’ ground was the venue for the final round of the 2019 Super Sevens Series on the hottest day of the year.
And with Ramblin Jesters, Akuma Hurricanes and the British Army all challenging for the top spot with Samurai and Speranza22 close behind should somebody stumble, it was always going to be a warmly contested day.
The pool rounds went pretty well to form but with Akuma losing their way in the quarters that set up a feisty encounter between Samurai and the British Army.
