England battle to win despite yellow to win

TOM Willis scored an injury time try to secure victory for England after another ill-disciplined display that saw three of their players yellow carded.
Victory ensured England advanced to the fifth place play-off with Wales, who earlier defeated New Zealand.
Steve Bates’ side led 13-6 at the break despite an early yellow card to Ted Hill, with Josh Hodge scoring a try and converting his own score as well as adding two further penalties as Ireland responded through Ben Healy’s boot.
