The ‘DC’ defence

QUINS demonstrated a new tactic for the smart defence coach – the DC.
The DC (Danny Care) defence provokes an attacker into a ‘slapping contest’ which constitutes ‘foul play’ in today’s game.
The referee will then stop play, yellow card the players, disallow the try and restart the game with a penalty which of course won’t be kicked so will be a scrum or lineout. Job done for the defenders!
