A RUTHLESS secondhalf display by Canterbury consigned the Wild Geese to relegation. Geese took the lead early on through a James Brooks penalty, but they had Tom Donegan sent to the sinbin for killing the ball under the posts. It took a while for the man advantage to count though, before Ben Neville touched down after a back line movement.
George Owen restored the Irish lead, but on the stroke of half-time Canterbury were in front again, Daniel Smart finishing off a lovely flowing move with excellent quick-hand offloads. Smart start...
