JOE Tarrant collected 19 points on his return to action, as Blackheath held on to beat Loughborough in this tight contest.
It was the visitors who would get off on the right foot. Demonstrating sharp pace and belying their status at the foot of the table, Loughborough quickly had Blackheath reduced to 14 men for a deliberate knock-on, and opened the scoring as Harry Newborn drove over from lineout ball.
