Wallaby coach Michael Cheika is one notable exception and another is Sir Nicholas Shehadie, who died last week at 92. having made a massive contribution to Rugby Union in both Australia and around the globe. Shehadie was the grandson of the head of the Antioch Orthodox Church in Australia and New Zealand and his father – Michael Shehadie – also served in that role.
