Tarrant keeps his nerve at the death

THIS was a terrific contest to start off the new season with eight tries, a lead that changed hands six times and was ultimately decided by the boot of Blackheath flyhalf Joe Tarrant, who landed a 40-metre penalty with the last kick.
Club enjoyed a dream start, with Markus Burcham intercepting within two minutes for the first try. Tom Stradwick picked up from a ruck to go over after Albion lost their own line-out ball.
