Marler to hit 50 against Scotland

Joe Marler will win his 50th Test cap during ‘s Calcutta Cup match against at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday.
Quins prop Marler, who made his debut against South Africa at in Durban in 2012, retain his starting No.1 shirt but Eddie Jones has opted to make three changes to the team that beat Italy last time out.
They all come in the back line with Jonathan Joseph returning at outside centre while Jack Nowell and Ben Youngs start on the right wing and at scrum-half.
Anthony Watson and Billy Vunipola return to an England match-day 23 for the first time in this year’s Championship having both recovered from injury. They are joined by Danny Care and Ben Te’o who lost out to Youngs and Joseph for a starting berth.
“Our preparation for Scotland has been very good,” said England head coach Jones. “We had two excellent training runs in Oxford last week and followed that up this week.
“We’re focused on ourselves; we want to give our fans a really good performance. We’ve worked hard in this RBS 6 Nations and feel like a good performance is just around the corner.”
Forwards coach Steve Borthwick added: “Scotland are a good team but we have had a great two-week preparation heading into the game.
“Firstly at Oxford and then this week has been excellent. We know we are going to have to be at our best this week against them.
“They’ve got strengths in their pack and across their team. If you start isolating one or two areas then you will get hurt elsewhere. They are a smart team so we have to prepare to our very best.
“We know it’s going to be a great challenge, and it’s one the players are looking forward to.”
