Former All Black lock Bryn Evans has agreed a new three-year deal with Sale Sharks.
The 31-year-old from Biarritz before the start of last season having previously played three seasons in the Premiership with London Irish.
Before heading to the Northern Hemisphere, he played Super Rugby for The Blues and The Hurricanes.
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, “Bryn was outstanding during his first season and was a model of consistency for us, just missing one game. Bryn was also a very worthy winner of the Players Player of the Season Award.
“He is highly respected within the squad and is just the type of player we need to help us achieve our ambitions at Sale Sharks.”
