Bath clarify position on Salary Cap

Bath have tonight released a statement regarding their position on the Premiership Salary Cap.
The West Country outfit are clear about the fact that they have not broken the salary cap but there is no mention about whether they were investigated over potential breaches.
Last week, Premiership Rugby revealed that some clubs had agreed settlements over some disagreements regarding commercial contracts.
But like with the investigation, Bath are not confirming or denying they were one of the clubs who agreed such settlements.
Instead, they are reassuring fans they have spent only £4.71m of the £4.76m salary cap last season and that they will be within it again this season.
