England v New Zealand preview

Dylan Hartley will earn his 50^th Test cap against New Zealand on Saturday at Twickenham after being named at hooker for the last of England‘s Autumn internationals.
The Northampton Saints captain, who made his debut back in 2008, gets the nod over Tom Youngs after his impressive display against Argentina last week while Dan Cole returns after being rested last week.
The British & Irish Lion, who was on the bench against the Pumas, returns at tighthead with David Wilson dropping to the bench.
There are two other changes on the bench with London Wasps loosehead Matt Mullan and Ben Youngs named among the replacements.
England Head Coach Stuart Lancaster said: “It’s a great achievement for Dylan to reach 50 caps. We are a young side but one that is growing with every game and it’s important to have leaders like Dylan.
“We have had some enforced changes with Alex Corbisiero and Mako Vunipola unavailable and we have been unable to consider a number of players due to short and long term injuries.
“But we are ready for the challenge of playing a top quality side in New Zealand and are excited about playing at Twickenham. The atmosphere was amazing for this game last year – the crowd made a real difference and I’m sure they can help inspire us again on Saturday.”
Meanwhile, Dan Carter will make his 100th Test appearance for New Zealand with Julian Savea returning to the fold.
Carter starts in his beloved No.10 shirt while Savea takes over from Cory Jane on the wing as Charles Piutau, who was outstanding against France last Saturday, is on the other.
On the bench, Luke Romano replaces Sam Cane to provide cover at lock.
Head coach Steve Hansen said: “This is a Test match we are very much looking forward to. We were completely outplayed by them last year, but this is an opportunity for us to see if we have improved our game to the point where we can be competitive. The players are excited because this is what Test rugby is all about.
“We are expecting a really physical game with huge intensity, but also a game that will have high levels of energy, pace and skills.
“We know the England coaching staff have done a lot of homework so this may be a game where we add a few new things they haven’t seen before.”
