Too many pointless games still to play

AFTER Round 11, some clubs have given up on making the Prem top four, so with nothing to fight for, spout that they are rebuilding for next season. When you consider there are seven rounds to play, this doesn’t present too much for the fans of those clubs.
With attendances on the slide at most clubs, to have nothing to fight for for a third of the season cannot be a good thing in the long run for all aspects of the game.
