Blues graduates show true worth of Championship

I AM a long-time season ticket holder at Bedford Blues and last weekend the Championship was at its best.
Not only did the Blues put 40 points on Nottingham but in the Wasps v Gloucester game, all four centres were ex-Blues players – Billy Twelvetrees and Mark Atkinson for Gloucester and Michael Le Bourgeois and Josh Bassett for Wasps.
For people in doubt of the worth of the Championship, Billy had a full season at Bedford several years ago. He played virtually every game and was the top points scorer and playmaker, developing his skills in the process.
