WHAT a turn off. Having registered to buy World Cup tickets, RWC inform me that for the first three days of sales you have to be a Mastercard holder! Should I have known? Well only if I had spotted one sentence tucked away four pages into the information previously on their website.
Makes a mockery of RWC’s statement that they want to make the 2023 World Cup “as accessible as possible for everyone”.
Commercial interest once again over-ride the interest of supporters and the rugby community. It will have created a touts paradise.
