THANK heavens for Brendan Gallagher during the period of this horrendous lockdown. His dips into our past glories has been fantastic and renewed many memories of forgotten gems.
For his ‘Iconic Pictures’ series, I hope he has a still of Josh Lewsey tackling Matt Rogers in the 2003 RWC final. I remember Mrs Rogers threatening to sue Josh for GBH!
I enjoyed the issue on ‘Rugby Songs’ but felt it should have mentioned the classic LP of rugby songs by the Jock Strap Ensemble with a picture of Mike Flynn in a tangled headband on the cover.
Mike was a great character in rugby at all levels. Perhaps it was Coarse Rugby that he excelled in.
