Ford takes charge of Knights backs after Carnegie fallout

JOE Ford’s professional coaching career is set to be rejuvenated at Doncaster Knights, three months after his departure from Yorkshire Carnegie.Ford, 29, has landed the backs coach job at Castle Park and comes in as a direct replacement for Francis Cummins.The former Leeds, Sale and Leicester fly-half,below, is understood to be joining the Championship club in a coaching-only capacity.Ford’s reign as head coach of struggling Carnegie came to an end once Phil Davies returned to the club in Jan-uary and installed his own coach-ing team.He will now&nb...
