Wigglesworth deal with Sale is off

RICHARD Wigglesworth is unlikely to be returning to Sale Sharks in a player-coach role at the end of the season Blindside understands.
The England scrumhalf was linked with the role at the AJ Bell Stadium after his Saracens team opted to take relegation from the Premiership following the salary cap scandal.
Blackpool-born Wigglesworth, who will be 37 in June, started his career with the Sharks and spent eight years with them before moving south in 2010.
